The criteria included the success rate of students in enrolling in higher educational institutions, public examination results over the past three years, tuition fees, students' scholarships, financial assistance, teachers' qualifications, teacher-student ratio, teaching style, students' opinions on teaching methods, and the ability of teachers to create a safe learning environment in the classroom and campus.

During the survey disclosure ceremony held at Bishwo Shahitto Kendro, Md Nazrul Islam Khan, curator of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum and former education secretary, Professor Dr ASM Maksud Kamal, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University, Professor Mohammad Mazharul Hannan, President of Bangladesh Principals Council, and journalists Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul, among others, expressed their insights.

Professor Maksud Kamal emphasised the need for adequate teacher training to enhance the quality of education and urged for regular surveys to encourage colleges to improve continuously. He also stressed the significance of early-stage student care to foster intellectual growth.
