National Film Award-winning actor, and director Abul Hayat has made a drama this time for Channel i. The drama titled "Shila Brishtir Shorbot" stars popular actor Shahed Sharif Khan and National Film Award-winning actress Zakia Bari Mamo.
The shooting of the drama has been completed on the outskirts of the capital. Besides Shahed, the drama also stars Chitralekha Guha, Abdul Bari, Shelly Ahsan and others.
The script of the drama is based on the life of the late Rabeya Khatun and has been written by Abul Hayat himself.
Abul Hayat said, "I usually make dramas based on special occasions. And most of my dramas are made for Channel i. This time I have made a drama based on the story of Rabeya Khatun Apa. The story is quite different. Everyone who has acted in it has worked wholeheartedly. Shahed and Mamo have done a great job in the lead roles. Shahed hes been very good at acting for a long time and he is more serious when he works in my dramas. Mamo is also a talented actress. She tries to work with dedication and immerse herself in the character. She has done the same in this drama. I hope the audience will like it."
Abul Hayat said that his wife Shirin Hayat was also present during the shooting. It is to be noted that Shahed is the husband of Abul Hayat's younger daughter Natasha Hayat.
Meanwhile, Mamo's film "Ora Satajon" directed by Khijir Hayat Khan is now available on an OTT platform. The audience has praised Mamo's performance in the film.
Mamo made her debut in Tauquir Ahmed's film "Daruchini Dwip". She won her first National Film Award for her performance in the film. Mamo then came into the limelight for her performance in Shihab Shaheen's film "Chuye Dile Mon". Her other films include "Dahan", "Alta Banu" and more.
