After making the first movie, many filmmakers take time to start the second movie. Raisul Islam Anik did not take that time. Last year, Raisul Islam Anik started his journey in Dhalwood as a director with the film 'Iti Chitra'. Anik announced to make three new movies within four months of the release of the first movie. The movies are 'Charulata', 'Phuriye Jawa Alo' and 'Ronojoddha (Noukomand, August 1971)'.
The shooting of these films will start in the middle of this month.
About the new three films, Anik said, “It is not like that I have announced the name of the movies suddenly. My team and I had been planning to make several movies for over five years. I was waiting for confirmation. Now it has been confirmed. I will complete the production of three movies this year.”
Firstly Anik will start the shooting of the film ‘Charulata’. The story of ‘Charulata’ is about the traders of the footpath of Dhaka New Market area. The story of four friends involved with New Market will be seen in it. Ashna Habib Bhabna, Rakib Hossain Evon, Mohaimin Islam Golpo, and others will act in this film. Mohaimin Islam Golpo will debut on the big screen with this movie. He is the son of actress Monira Mithu.
About this new movie, actress Bhabna said, “I liked the story. Here, my character is also quite interesting. The story will revolve around a girl from a low-class family, who runs a shop in New Market.”
Evon said, “The story of ‘Charulata’ is about love, friendship, and family. But above all, it is a story of benevolent and personal limitations, where life is sometimes colourful, gray, and sometimes dark.”
The screenplay of the movie is written by Nazim Uddin Khan, Mahbub Suman, and Anik. The director said that ‘Charulata’ is planning to release next Eid. Before its release, the film will be screened at film festivals in several countries.
After, ‘Charulata’, Anik will start the shooting of 'Phuriye Jawa Alo'. At the end of the year, he will start the shooting of the ‘Ronojoddha’ movie.
