National Film Award-winning singer Ankhi Alamgir has stood before the camera again for an advertisement. The shooting of the advertisement was completed in Cox's Bazar on Friday.

Filmmaker Anonno Mamun has made an advertisement for an elite residential hotel ‘Ramada’ in Cox’s Bazar. Earlier Ankhi Alamgir became modeled for a TVC under the direction of Anonno Mamun.

The entire unit comments that Ankhi Alamgir's presence in this ad will leave the audience spellbound.

Ankhi Alamgir said, "Before this, I worked in advertising under the direction of Anonno Mamun." This is my second work under his direction. Mamun's direction is much more organised and pretty much matches what I imagine in my mind. The ambiance of the hotel is excellent. I like it very much. When the TVC will be aired, everyone will appreciate it.”

Ankhi Alamgir returned to Dhaka yesterday after finishing the shooting.

Meanwhile, Ankhi Alamgir impressed the audience by singing in several stage shows this month. Ankhi Alamgir will perform music in three different shows in Dhaka on February 27, 28 and 29.
Ankhi Alamgir is a Bangladeshi singer and actress. She acted in the film “Bhat De” in 1984 and won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Child Artist for her performance.

Ankhi Alamgir was not seen in acting after childhood. She began her indomitable journey in the world of music and became a famous singer in Bangladesh. Ankhi Alamgir debuted playback singing in 1994. Her first album was launched in 1997 and the second one, titled “Bisher Kata” in 1998. Alamgir returned to acting as an adult through a television drama serial in mid-2010. She performed as a guest actor in the film “Ek Cup Cha” in 2014.

She won Best Female Playback Singer for the film “Ekti Cinemar Golpo” (2018). As of 2016, she has released 18 albums. Ankhi Alamgir’s popular songs include “Tiptip Bristy”, ‘Piya Giyechhe Dubai”, “Rajkumari”, ‘Kothay Rekhechho Amay”, “Laila” and others.
