Coke Studio Bangla paid tribute to Rabindranath Tagore on his 82nd death anniversary with its latest song ‘Anondodhara’. The song features popular Rabindra Sangeet singer Adity Mohsin and the Melody King of Bangladesh, Bappa Majumder.
Together they breathed new life into this classical song with their powerful and melodious voice. This blissful duet has been rearranged and produced by Shayan Chowdhury Arnob with addition of classical & modern instruments.
‘Anondodhara’ is a song that is a reminder to audiences that happiness lies within and we have the freedom to tap into it anytime we want if we appreciate the magic of life itself. It is a song that celebrates the essence of joy and the continuous flow of happiness in life. The verses express the harmony of nature and natures unique way of showing it’s love. Shayan Chowdhury Arnob took a fresh take on this classic song and created a completely new sound with psychedelic synths through Python Coding and deep house beats. It is based on raag Malkosh and it celebrates the #RealMagic of so many ideas coming together as we can see scientific experiments, modern instruments, and traditional instruments. While Arnob produced the song in a modern way, keeping today’s youth’s liking in mind, he kept Rabindranath Tagore’s universal essence and immeasurable depth intact. The song not only celebrates the mesmerizing creation of Rabindranath Tagore, it also celebrates the #RealMagic of the universe, a divine symphony that is ‘Anondodhara’.
