With the initiative of Ali-Rupa Foundation, Madiha Marsiha Advertising has been organising the 'Ma Padak' since 2022. As usual, this year, with the sponsor of Perfect Electronics on the occasion of World Mother's Day 'Ma Padak 2024' will be held.
The event will take place in a renowned hotel in Dhaka with the cooperation of the CEO and founder of Perfect Electronics, Golam Shahriar Kabir.
In several categories including cinema, drama, music, dance, administration, education, journalism, and military, deserving mothers will be awarded the 'Ma Padak' this time.
Each time, an actress from the film or drama industry is honoured with special recognition. This time the prestigious award will be presented to the living legend actress Anwara Begum.
Anwara expressed great excitement about the matter. She said, "Before this, I have received national recognition for acting nine times. Being honoured with the 'Ma Padak' for portraying a mother in countless films is truly special to me. This is the greatest achievement for me as the audience loves me. I thank Ali-Rupa Foundation and Perfect Electronics for honouring me with this special recognition."
CEO of Perfect Electronics, Golam Shahriar Kabir, said, "I have been observing Ovi's event for the past two years. I feel that if my organisation is involved in such an event, I will also feel good about it because there is emotion, love, and prayers of every mother in this event."
It is noteworthy that this time, more than 20 proud mothers will be honoured with the 'Ma Padak'.
