Renowned actress, producer, and director Aruna Biswas has recently completed her directorial debut film, "Oshombhob", which was funded through government grants and her personal contributions. All aspects of the film's production have been successfully completed, and Aruna Biswas has announced that the film is set to be released on October 20.

The plot of "Oshombhob" will show everyday lives of rural people, Jatrapala and the 1971 War. The film has already received positive feedback from censor authorities, securing the necessary approvals for release. Aruna Biswas expressed her excitement about the film, mentioning that it features original songs written by renowned Bangladeshi lyricist Gazi Mazharul Anwar.

Aruna Biswas faced various challenges and financial constraints while making the film, even going beyond the designated budget to ensure its completion. Despite the hardships, she is determined to present a quality film to the audience. The movie stars notable actors such as Jyotsna Biswas (Aruna Biswas' mother), Abul Hayat, Sohana Saba, Noor, Shahed, Shatabdi Wadud and many others.

The film's central character is portrayed by talented actress Sohana Saba, who praised the engaging storyline, and said, "Incase of this film of my acting career, there exists an Aruna Biswas. The narrative is interwoven with the essence of our nation, family, and journeys. There are scenic backdrops, and within the chill of a rainy night, stories of my drenched encounters are told. Now, as a true optimist, I believe that when audiences see the film, they will become entangled and captivated."

Director Aruna Biswas stated, "I want to say just one thing about 'Oshombhob.' After its release, this film will be thoroughly explored and judged. I have put in all my skills and efforts to create this film. As an artist, I can pinpoint the spot of dissatisfaction. This is why, in order to eliminate that sense of dissatisfaction, I poured tremendous dedication and hard work into making this film. Hayat Kaku, my mother, Saba, Noor, and others, every single one of them delivered remarkable performances. This is why my hope and optimism have grown even stronger."
