Pop icon Britney Spears continues to make headlines in the music world, even after seven years since her last album release. Over the weekend, Spears achieved another milestone as her 2003 hit single "Toxic" surpassed one billion streams on Spotify, granting her membership in the prestigious "Billions Club" on the popular streaming platform, according to CNN.

This achievement puts her in the company of other music legends such as ABBA, whose 1976 single "Dancing Queen," Whitney Houston's 1987 hit "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," and DJ Khaled's 2017 smash "Wild Thoughts" have also reached the coveted milestone of one billion streams.

Adding to the excitement, Spears recently collaborated with Will.i.am for a new song titled "Mind Your Business." This marks her second collaboration since her 2016 solo album "Glory" and the end of her conservatorship in 2021. Last year, she teamed up with Elton John for a remix of his classic 1972 track "Tiny Dancer," aptly named "Hold Me Closer."

Interestingly, "Toxic," which featured on Spears' 2003 album "In the Zone," was initially intended for Australian singer Kylie Minogue. However, Minogue reportedly declined the song, leading to its iconic association with Britney Spears.
