In a historic move, the global sensation BTS has once again inked a contract extension with their agency, HYBE. Alongside this momentous decision, BigHit Music has made an extraordinary gesture of gratitude by donating a staggering 1 billion won ($750,000) in the name of the devoted BTS ARMY.

In an official statement, HYBE proudly declared, "We are thrilled to announce the unanimous renewal of exclusive contracts for all seven members of BTS, who are esteemed artists under BigHit Music. This extension paves the way for BTS to continue their awe-inspiring journey even beyond 2025, when they fulfill their patriotic duty through military service."

The septet, whose talents have enraptured the world, will temporarily part ways as each member takes their turn to serve in the South Korean armed forces. The heartfelt commitment is set to culminate in a grand reunion in 2025, promising an explosion of creativity and new music. Just recently, the immensely talented Suga, known by his birth name Min Yoongi, embarked on his enlistment journey, following the footsteps of Jin and J-Hope.

A heartfelt plea comes from the management agency to the devoted fanbase, urging vigilance against unauthorized tours or packages that illicitly exploit the intellectual property (IP) of the artists.

In compliance with South Korean law, all able-bodied men between the ages of 18 and 28 are mandated to serve approximately two years in the military. BTS, having been granted a postponement until the age of 30, have steadfastly echoed their commitment to answering their nation's call.

Notably, until 2013, the South Korean military operated an "entertainment soldier" program, wherein soldiers undertook duties related to creating radio and TV content to promote military ideals. However, due to concerns of inequity, this system was eventually phased out.
