Bangladeshi actress Shabnam Bubly is all set to make her mark in the Kolkata film industry with the upcoming thriller, “Flashback.”
The film, directed by Rashed Raha from Dhaka, boasts a screenplay crafted by Khairul Bashar Nirjhor, also hailing from Dhaka.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Bubly highlighted the presence of the legendary Tollywood producer and actor Kaushik Ganguly in the film, adding a significant allure to the project.
The official press conference inaugurating the commencement of 'Flashback' was scheduled to take place in India on Sunday, providing insights into the much-anticipated collaboration.
Sourav Das, the popular Indian actor celebrated for his role in 'Montu Pilot,' joins the cast and is set to portray a key character in the movie. Produced by Blue Whale Entertainment, the film promises a captivating narrative that revolves around three characters from diverse backgrounds.
Kaushik Ganguly essays the role of a writer central to the plot, while Sourav Das takes on the character of a vagabond named DK. Bubly's character, named Shweta, weaves into the intricate storyline that mysteriously converges the lives of these three individuals.
Media sources in Kolkata have unveiled that a substantial portion of the film has already been shot at various locations in the city. The upcoming shooting schedule includes capturing pivotal scenes, including the climax, in the northern part of West Bengal next week.
The film, produced by A Blue Whale Entertainment and Big R Entertainment, is anticipated to hit the screens later this year, promising an enthralling cinematic experience for audiences in Kolkata and beyond.
