Noted actress and playwright Hridi Haq’s directorial debut ‘1971 Shei Shob Din’ a government-granted film is set for countrywide release tomorrow.
Before its release, director Hridi Haq, actor Ferdous, Tarin, Lucky Inam met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and handed over a hand-painted poster of the film at Gonobhaban today.
The film revolves around a family’s experiences during 1971, providing a poignant portrayal of the era.
Apart from directing, Hridi Haq, herself features in ‘1971 Shei Shob Din’, alongside a talented ensemble cast comprising Mamunur Rashid, Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Munmun Ahmed, Shilpi Sharkar Apu, Ferdous, Tareen, Litu Anam, Saju Khadem, Sanjida Preeti, and many more. Notably, after a hiatus of 15 years, Litu Anam makes a remarkable comeback to cinema with this film.
In the movie, Ferdous, Litu Anam, and Sajal deliver compelling performances, portraying the roles of three brothers actively engaged in the Liberation War.
