Children's film 'Aam-Kathaler Chhuti' screened at BSA

Based on Sharif Uddin Sabuj's short story, Mohammad Nuruzzaman's children's film 'Aam-Kathaler Chhuti' was screened at the National Art Gallery Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Sunday.

The movie is going to release on August 18 for the audience of the country. The film has been titled as ‘Summer Holiday’ for its international release.

State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid was present as the chief guest. Director General of BSA Liaquat Ali Lucky, renowned filmmaker Morshedul Islam, and many others were present as special guests.

Producer Mohammad Nuruzzaman said in the event, those who passed their childhood and adolescence in the seventies and mid-nineties will find themselves in this movie. At the same time, the new generation of children and teenagers will be familiar with the lost or losing natural environment and our own folk culture.

This producer also said that it has already been shown in several film festivals in the world including Indonesia, Russia, and Argentina, and also received praise.

The movie 'Aam Kathaler Chhuti' stars Jubayer, Leon, Arif, Halima, Tanjil, Fatema, and many others.
