The musical franchise 'Coke Studio' launched in Bangladesh two years ago to spread Bengali music. There have already been two seasons of Coke Studio Bangla. Season three is currently underway.
Musician Shayan Chowdhury Arnob spoke to the media about whether there will be any new surprises in Coke Studio Bangla for Eid.
Without revealing anything specific, the musician said that another popular musician, Arnob, is bringing a song with a popular artist to increase the Eid mood. However, Arnob does not want to break the mystery yet. He has given some clues to let the audience and fans know in advance that a big bang is coming, this Eid.
Regarding the new song, Arnob said, "It is a very popular song along with that our popular and most beloved singer. Nothing more can be said right now."
Arnob further said, "I cannot say anything more about this. He sang the song a long time ago, and now he is singing it again. This song is also an old song like 'Obak Valobasa' that has been released. The song can even be called a classic song, or even a timeless song."
Regarding the release of the song, Arnob said, "The work is almost done. Mixing and mastering is in progress. I hope the song will be released on the night of Eid."
The third season of Coke Studio Bangla began on April 13 with the song 'Tati'. The song tells the story of the weavers of Bangladesh. It has been performed by musicians Arnob, Gonjer Ali and Louis Anthony, popularly known as Oli Boy.
The song, written by Shatarupa Thakurta Roy, Gonjer Ali and Louis Anthony, has been produced by Season 3 music curator Arnob.
