Crunchyroll began streaming all six episodes of the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin anime in India in Japanese with English subtitles and with an English dub on Tuesday.
The company also added the Hindi dub and English dub of the Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage anime on Friday, reports Anime News Network.
The Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin anime project adapts Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's manga of the same name, which in turn is inspired by the first Mobile Suit Gundam anime's story.
Yasuhiko designed the characters in the first Gundam anime, and he served as the chief director and storyboarder for the Gundam: The Origin anime. Yasuhiko stated in 2018 that Gundam: The Origin was his last anime.
The six-episode anime debuted in Japanese theaters from 2015 to 2018. The story centres around the childhood and early adulthood of Char Aznable, the skilled Zeon ace pilot known as The Red Comet, who serves as antagonist and foil to original series protagonist Amuro Ray.
A 13-episode television series recompilation of the anime project premiered in Japan in April 2019.
