Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone has been named the global brand ambassador for Hilton's new platform, "Hilton. For The Stay." The announcement was made on Friday by Hilton's official Instagram account.

Padukone, known for her roles in films like "Piku" and "Bajirao Mastani," will promote the platform's focus on creating meaningful and memorable travel experiences for Indians worldwide. With 17 new Hilton hotels planned for India, the partnership aims to tap into the growing demand for premium travel experiences in the country.

"I'm proud to be partnering with a global brand like Hilton to share the importance of The Stay for Indians worldwide," said Padukone. "Having your needs anticipated and looked after even before you step into the hotel lobby lets you know that you're well taken care of."

Mark Weinstein, Chief Marketing Officer at Hilton, praised Padukone's iconic status and ability to connect with modern Indian audiences. "Deepika's unique, authentic experiences will inspire travellers from across India to join Hilton Honors and experience their very own Hilton Stays," he said.

This partnership marks another significant step in Padukone's global brand endorsements. She previously collaborated with luxury brands like Cartier and Louis Vuitton, and became the ambassador for Dyson Hair Care technologies in 2023.

Padukone's growing international presence, including her recent appearances at the Oscars, Met Gala, and Cannes Film Festival, makes her a valuable asset for Hilton's global marketing campaign. The "It Matters Where You Stay" campaign, launched in July 2022, previously featured heiress Paris Hilton.
