‘Dushahoshi Khoka’ to release September 8

Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar's government granted film ‘Dushahoshi Khoka’ which captures the early life of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be released in theaters on September 8.

Three posters and a teaser of the film were unveiled through a grand event in BFDC on Monday.

Shommo Joyti will be seen essaying the character of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the film. Apart from its cast and crew, Chanchal Chowdhury, Brindaban Das, Shahnaz Khushi, Chhatku Ahmed, Delwar Jahan Jhantu, among others, were present at the event.

Director Gulzar said the film ‘Dushahoshi Khoka’ will be released in theaters on September 8. The film has already received the censor certificate. Everyone praised the film who saw it.

Shommo Joyti who played the role of Bangabandhu, said, "It is my fortune to play the role of such a great person in a short career. I tried my best to portray the character properly. I have learned about Bangabandhu by reading various books. Now I am waiting to see audience feedback.”

Golam Farida Chanda, another character of the film said, “We need numerous flowers to make flower garlands. There have been many films about Bangabandhu in our country. This film will be another flower in the flower garland.”
