A special drama titled ‘Ebar Pujay’ featuring actress Sarika Saba in one of the lead roles, will be aired on NTV tonight, as part of the television channel’s programmes on the occasion of Durga Puja.
The drama will be aired at 9:30pm marking Bijaya Dashami.
Written and directed by Preety Dutt, ‘Ebar Pujay’ has also Irfan Sajjad, Mohammad Bari, Farhad Limon, Tanmoy Tania and Arnab Anto in various roles.
The story of the drama revolves around a zamindar named Haripada Roy who wants his children to be with him in the village home on the occasion of Durga Puja. But the oldest son and his wife are after his wealth. On the other hand, the daughter of Haipada Roy is in love with a boy in the village. As the progresses, it unfolds many interesting sides of their life.
Another special drama titled ‘Shapmochan’ based on the novel of Falguni Mukhopaddhay, directed and written by SM Dulal featuring Chandni, Rokeya Prachi and Jayanta Chattappddhay, will be aired on NTV at 2:35pm today.
On Thursday night, NTV aired another special film titled ‘Jibandhuli’ directed and written by Tanvir Mokammel featuring Shatabdi Wadud, Chitralekha Guha and Jyotika Jyoti, as part of its programmes celebrating Durga Puja.
