Fahmida Nabi bringing ‘Smrity’r Darajay’ soon

Popular singer Fahmida Nabi, and also the talented daughter of the renowned Bangladeshi music pioneer Mahmudun Nabi, is going to release a new song titled ‘Smrity’r Darajay’. Written by Jamal Hossain, the song is composed by Fahmida Nabi’s younger brother Ridwan Nabi Pancham.

About the song, ‘Smrity’r Darajay’, Fahmida Nabi said, “I have seen Jamal Vai’s genuine love for his music, his dedication to the music industry since he started music for Rangan Music. Not only music, but his mentality of moving forward with the culture of the country from all aspects like drama and cinema is incomparable. He always does everything with a smile. That's why Rangan music is going forward. I wish them all the best in their journey. In the meantime, I have done filming for a wonderful song written by Jamal Bhai in the tune of Pancham. The cinematography is done beautifully by Sagar. I am very optimistic about the song.”

Jamal Hossain said, “Fahmida Apa is a renowned musician of this country. From the beginning, she has been singing my songs very consciously and with great interest. She likes my lyrics very much. It’s very pleasurable for me that she sings my songs. I am grateful to him.”

The song ‘Smrity’r Darajay’ will be released on Rangan Music YouTube channel soon. 

Fahmida Nabi was born in Dinajpur in 1966. She is the daughter of the late singer Mahmudun Nabi and the elder sister of singer Samina Chowdhury.

She started her career in 1979. Her first album was Tumi Tulonahina. Fahmida Nabi won the National Film Award as the Best Female Playback Singer in 2007 for her song ‘Lukochuri Lukochuri Golpo’ in the film ‘Aha’.
