The Bangladeshi and Indian film industries have been buzzing with the recent release of "Hubba," starring Mosharraf Karim.

Based on the life events of notorious West Bengal gangster Hubba Shyamal, the film has received critical acclaim for its captivating storyline and outstanding performances.

However, despite its initial success, "Hubba" faces a significant setback as it falls victim to piracy. Several Facebook pages, YouTube channels, and websites have spread pirated copies of the film. High-definition links of the movie are circulating in various Facebook groups, raising concerns about the impact of piracy on the film's box office performance.

Regarding the matter, Abdul Aziz, the head of Jazz Multimedia, said, "Legal action is being taken in Bangladesh and India. It has already been removed from several sites. The pirated copy will be removed from all places very soon."

"Hubba" is based on the events of the life of Hubba Shyamal, a notorious gangster of West Bengal. He was known as the 'Dawood Ibrahim of Hooghly.' His criminal pursuits encompass a wide spectrum, ranging from acts of murder and brawls to involvement in drug smuggling. Notably, he ventured into the political sphere by contesting elections at one juncture.

Mosharraf Karim has acted in that diverse role. Indraneil Sengupta adds depth to the film by portraying the role of a police officer. The ensemble cast, which features Poulomi Basu, Sraboni Das, Soumik Haldar, and other accomplished actors, is curated to perfection.

With Friends Communications at the helm of production, this cinematic endeavour unites a talented and diverse cast, collectively breathing life into the narrative.
