In a heartfelt letter titled 'Gane Banchi, Gane Atke Achhi', National Film Award-winning music artist, Muhin Khan penned an open letter to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The letter highlights the artist's lamentation over the absence of an invitation from Bangladesh Television despite being listed for over 12 years.

Taking to his verified Facebook page on Saturday, Muhin expressed his concerns, stating, "I have been a part of the contemporary music scene for more than a decade, but have not received any call from Bangladesh Television. There is also no mention of receiving invitations for annual events according to the list. If anyone is capable of such work, let me know. I will reveal their names very soon."

Muhin further emphasized, "I want to know why I haven't received a call in the last 12 years, that's fine. But for those who aim to marginalize the country's musicians and culture enthusiasts through this dark list, I would like to remind them that this very practice has repeatedly failed to stifle our artists. When receiving awards, I have seen the beautiful faces of those people. For you, I pray nonetheless."

He concluded with a call for unity, saying, "I will write an application, and along with that, I hope these dark figures realize their mistakes and come back from the wrong path. Let's raise the honor of all artists by at least five times without any deductions. I want the true artists' society to be free from these black marketeers. Remember, violating people's rights and causing harm will lead you to the same fate someday."

Muhin first gained recognition as the runner-up on the reality show 'Close Up-1: Tomakei Khujchhey Bangladesh.' In the film 'Padmapuran,' his song earned him the prestigious National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer in 2021.

In his statement, Muhin questioned, "I have only one question: even after receiving the national award, who are the individuals or groups involved in these conspiracies? I am a freedom fighter's family member, and I am not accustomed to speaking from behind. I have Allah with me, and I have siblings of a healthy culture who do not indulge in mudslinging over artists."

The renowned singer concluded by writing, "If I make a mistake in speaking, please forgive me. Whether it is promoted or not, you can listen to my songs on my channel."
