Madonna, the iconic queen of pop, is reflecting on her journey to recovery after being hospitalized in the ICU due to a bacterial infection. In an emotional Instagram post, she expressed her gratitude and wrote “Love from family and friends is the best Medicine,” showcasing a series of photos with two of her six children.

As a mother of six, Madonna admitted that she had often been focused on her children's needs, but when she fell ill, her children showed a new side of their care and support, making a significant difference in her recovery. “I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference,” she added.

The pop sensation also mentioned her friend and longtime manager, Guy Oseary, who gifted her a meaningful Polaroid of Keith Haring wearing a jacket with Michael Jackson's face painted on it, taken by the legendary artist Andy Warhol, according to CNN.

Madonna wrote that she sobbed when she received Oseary’s gift because “I realized how lucky I am to be alive. And how fortunate I am to have known these people and so many others who are also gone.”

Madonna's health scare was announced by Oseary in June, stating that she was battling a serious bacterial infection. Fortunately, she was later released from the hospital and continued her recovery at home. As a result, she had to reschedule the start of her international "Celebration" tour to October.

The singer expressed her profound gratitude to the "angels" who protected her and allowed her to continue her work.
