‘I have received more than what I deserve’

Popular actress Mehazabien Chowdhury has finally made her debut in the film industry after 14 years of a successful career in television and OTT platforms. Her fans are eagerly waiting to see her on the big screen.

Mehazabien has played the lead role in the film "Saba" directed by Maksud Hossain. The shooting of the film was completed last February.

In a recent interview, Mehazabien expressed her hope that the audience will love her in the film. She said, "If the audience goes to the cinema hall, then story-based films will also be successful. I can't say how successful I will be. But when I started acting in dramas, I started getting everyone's love. When I started OTT, I got everyone's support there too. I hope I will get the same love when my first film 'Saba' will be released."

Mehazabien started her career in showbiz by winning the Lux Channel I Superstar competition in 2009. Today she is one of the top actresses in the small screen. She has gained popularity by presenting herself in various characters besides glamor. Last month, she completed 14 years in her career.

Mehazabien said that she has no regrets in her career. She said, "I have received more than what I deserve. My colleagues and audience have all supported me. I have also got the opportunity to work with the directors I wanted to work with. In the beginning, I could not speak and write Bengali well. From that position to today's position, I always feel that the industry has given me more than I have asked for."

Mehazabien was highly praised for her performance in the female-led story "Anonna" directed by Muhammad Mustafa Kamal Raz in December last year. She then appeared in the web series "Ararat" directed by Vicky Zahed on Valentine's Day in February. She has several new projects in the pipeline.
