Idhika Paul, the priyotoma of the film ‘Priyotoma’, had an enchanting experience as she graced the premiere of the movie in Dhaka. Director Himel Ashraf's creation, the much-awaited blockbuster, became a delightful treat for the Eid celebrations. Despite wearing a mask throughout the cinema hall, the actress was able to enjoy the film with her mother without any hindrance.

However, it was after the show's end that the true emotions of Idhika Paul surfaced. Taking a selfie with some of her admirers, she was overwhelmed by the warm reception and love she received from the Bangladeshi audience.

Sharing her feelings, she said, "It is incredibly challenging to express in words how much I loved seeing myself on the big screen for the first time. Truly, watching 'Priyotoma' and experiencing the shooting moments repeatedly stirred deep emotions within me. I have listened to many stories from my mother and others about their cinema experiences, and I cherished them all. However, the feeling of witnessing myself on the grand stage, alongside my mother and especially in Dhaka's cinema hall, has made this entire journey profoundly memorable in my life.

“I am immensely grateful to the entire 'Priyotoma' family, including Arshad Adnan Sir, my hero Shakib Khan and director Himel Ashraf. Their support and love have touched my heart beyond words. The profound gratitude I feel towards the Bangladeshi audience is indescribable", she added.

Idhika Paul's emotional connection to the film did not end there. Even after the film's shooting concluded some days ago, she cherished the memories of the set, where she had her mother and others by her side.

After she visited Dhakeshwari Temple, Idhika explored various parts of Dhaka University, including Masterda Surja Sen Hall, Shamsunnahar Hall, Faculty of Arts, and Curzon Hall. The talented actress, now back in Kolkata, flew back yesterday afternoon.
