Renowned actors Irfan Sajjad and Shahtaj Monira Hashem have joined forces to bring a special Valentine's Day drama to audiences. The duo has taken a unique approach by beginning preparations a solid four months in advance, a departure from the usual January or February start.
Directed by Sanjid Khan Prince, the play titled ‘Proticchobi,' penned by Mezbah Uddin Sumon, recently completed its shooting in Uttara, Dhaka.
Irfan, commenting on the project, stated, "Although this is my first collaboration with Prince bhai, there was no shortage of artistic understanding between us. The team's dedicated efforts have truly impressed me. I hope 'Pratichchobi' will be an outstanding drama for Valentine's Day."
On the other hand, actress Shahtaj expressed, "It's an immensely enjoyable story. Audiences will have a great time watching it. Everyone in the team has worked harmoniously with the goal of presenting an excellent drama."
According to the director, the story of ‘Proticchobi' is tailored to contemporary times. However, it carries its own unique essence. There are moments of sweetness that will resonate with the youth, he added hopefully.
Apart from Irfan and Shahtaj, the drama ‘Proticchobi,' produced by Shopnoghuri Entertainment, feature performances by Mou Shikha, Moumi Sheikh, Kabir Tutul, Helal Uddin Parvez, Tanveer Tapu, Suraiya Tasnim and many others.
