In a recent appearance on KBS 2TV's talk show, "The Seasons - Lee Hyori's Red Carpet," BLACKPINK's Jennie made her first solo appearance on a KBS music program and took the opportunity to shed light on her newly established agency, ODD ATELIER.

Jennie expressed gratitude to host Lee Hyori for the invitation, marking her initial solo endeavor following the announcement of her own agency.

When asked about the motivation behind creating ODD ATELIER, the singer explained that while she intends to continue group activities with YG Entertainment, she desired the freedom to pursue solo ventures more independently.

"I will continue to do group activities (with YG Entertainment), but I wanted to do solo activities more freely, so I carefully established (my own agency)," shared Jennie during the show.

Emphasizing the agency's ethos, she revealed the meaning behind its name, stating, "It contains the intention to do well even if my path is strange and different from others. Please show a lot of support in the future."

Jennie also took a moment to express her appreciation for the team at her label, emphasizing their longstanding collaboration. "There is a crew of people that were with me for a long time (at my label). I wanted to freely do any activities and promotions," she added.

Addressing her relationship with YG Entertainment, under which she debuted as part of BLACKPINK, Jennie shared positive sentiments, stating, "It's a company I've been with since my trainee days, so I learned a lot (from YG). We still have a good relationship."

The episode of "The Seasons - Lee Hyori's Red Carpet" featuring Jennie as the first guest aired recently at 11:20 PM KST. In her announcement of the new agency in December, Jennie expressed excitement about her solo journey in 2024 with ODD ATELIER and urged fans to show support for both her new endeavor and BLACKPINK, the iconic K-pop group she is part of alongside Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo.
