In a remarkable debut on the silver screen, Jessia Islam, former Miss World Bangladesh (2017) winner, showcased her talent in Asif Akbar's "MR-9," portraying agent Rupa alongside an international ensemble cast.
Adding to her list of accolades, Jessia recently clinched the prestigious Bangladesh Model Star Award at the esteemed Asia Model Festival in Seoul, South Korea.
Competing against contestants from seven countries, Jessia emerged victorious at this year's event held on November 5.
The Asia Model Festival, featuring categories such as Face of Asia, Asia Open Collection, and Asia Model Awards, is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of South Korea.
Taking to her Facebook page, the elated actress expressed her gratitude, stating, "It's an honour and a pleasure to receive this award as a model star from the Asia Model Festival.
