Amalendu Biswash and Jotsna Biswash were prominent figures in Bangladesh's Jatra industry. Amalendu Biswas left us several years ago while Jotsna Biswash who recently acted in the film ‘Oshombhob’, directed by her daughter Aruna Biswas. Aruna informed that the plot of ‘Oshombhob’ will reflect the lives of rural people, along with representing 'Jatrapala' and the Liberation War.
Just yesterday, Jotsna Biswash was at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) where renowned actor and filmmaker Afzal Hossain was dubbed for the film ‘Japito Jibon’. Aruna Biswas was also present at near, working on the grading of her film ‘Oshombhob’. Afzal Hossain rushed there when he heard that Jotsna Biswash was present there.
Aruna Biswas expressed her gratitude towards Afzal Hossain, stating, "I was working on the colour grading of my self-produced film ‘Oshombhob’. My mother was with me during the entire journey of making the film. Those were memorable times indeed.
"My heartfelt appreciation to Afzal Bhai for giving time and respect to my mother. This is the kind of recognition an artist receives from another artist. I was captivated by their stories, and I'm deeply thankful to both of them."
Meanwhile, Afzal Hossain has completed the dubbing for his film ‘Japito Jibon’. Audiences are eagerly waiting for another film of his ‘Maniker Lal Kakra’.
