In a surprising turn of events, popular actress Tanjin Tisha has found herself embroiled in a media storm after making controversial remarks against journalists. Tisha is facing backlash from the media community for her alleged disrespectful comments.

On Tuesday afternoon at Karwan Bazar, Dhaka, various media personnel, including journalists from television, newspapers, online portals and radio, gathered to protest Tisha's statements. The protest was organized by the Television Entertainment Journalists Association of Bangladesh (TEJAB).

Bulbul Ahmed Joy, spokesperson for TEJAB, expressed their concerns, stating, "When a journalist receives information, they verify and cross-check it and seek clarification from the relevant artists or professionals. This is the first principle of journalism.

"Channel 24 journalist Mazharul Islam Tamim also followed the same practice. He received information, sent an SMS to Tisha seeking clarification, and later, Tisha threatened him. However, Tamim did not report on the issue. Surprisingly, the next day, Tisha went to the DB office and filed a cyberbullying complaint against him."

Joy further added, "If Tanjin Tisha does not apologize within 24 hours, we will refrain from publishing any news related to her. Additionally, we will announce further actions against her."

Another journalist, Rana commented, "If Tisha has any allegations against us, she could have informed us. Instead, she chose to threaten and bully. I believe her behavior is unacceptable. If she does not apologize for her disrespectful behavior, journalists will abstain from publishing her news."

In a related context, the source of the incident stems from the publication of news about Tanjin Tisha's alleged 'suicide attempt.' Various media outlets reported the incident after Tisha was admitted to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on November 15 in an unconscious state.

It should be noted that Tisha filed a cyber-bullying complaint against Channel 24 journalist Mazharul Islam Tamim on Monday, accusing him of defamation. However, the journalist community awaits Tisha's response to their concerns before deciding on further actions.
