Kangana Ranaut has recently announced the postponement of her directorial venture, "Emergency". Initially slated for a November 24 release this year, the film will now hit screens in 2024.

Taking to her social media platform, Kangana Ranaut explained that the decision to delay "Emergency" stemmed from an already jam-packed schedule for the final quarter of 2023, necessitating a shift in the release date.

Expressing her heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming response to the film's teaser and promotional materials, Kangana emphasized the personal significance of "Emergency" in her artistic journey.

The film delves into the life of India's first female Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, marking a significant milestone in Kangana's career. The decision to postpone the release is a strategic one, affording more time for meticulous preparation and ensuring the film's debut lives up to its envisioned impact.

In an earlier statement, Kangana Ranaut revealed her unwavering dedication to "Emergency", even disclosing that she had leveraged her property to finance the project. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, the late Satish Kaushik, and Shreyas Talpade. It is penned by Ritesh Shah, the accomplished screenwriter behind Kangana's previous film, "Dhaakad".
