Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar recently shared heartfelt sentiments regarding superstar Salman Khan and hinted at a potential cinematic collaboration. In an interview, Johar recalled the special connection between their families, citing Salman's initial agreement to appear in 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' as a testament to his admiration for Johar's late father, Yash Johar.

Johar disclosed, "The thing is that I have to tell you that I have the deepest respect for Salman and his entire family. My father (Yash Johar) was very close to Salim saab (Salman Khan's father and script writer). And I told you how Salman said yes to the film (Kuch Kuch Hota Hai), he said yes based on the fact that he loved my dad. And that has never left my heart."

Regarding the potential collaboration, Johar remained cautious, stating, "All I can say at this moment is that that relationship will hopefully find celluloid space very soon. I am not saying it, I am not denying it. I am superstitious about certain things. I feel like I should say it, when the time is right."

Reflecting on Salman's cameo in 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' as Aman, Johar shared a fascinating anecdote about the actor's unwavering confidence in taking up the role. Salman's assertion that only a supremely confident person could do justice to the character left Johar thoroughly impressed.

The much-anticipated collaboration, rumored to be directed by Vishnuvardhan, is expected to feature Salman Khan in the role of a paramilitary officer. While speculations regarding casting choices circulated, sources close to the project revealed that discussions with potential actors are slated to commence in October.
