Makers of ‘Leader: Ami e Bangladesh’ have kicked off shooting for the Shakib Khan and Shobnom Bubly starrer on Tuesday with an aim to release the much-hyped film on upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
Shooting for the film started in the capital’s Uttara around 1:00pm following a brief muharrat abiding by Covid-19 safety guidelines, said a press release issued by Rtv.
Syed Ashikur Rahman, director of Bengal Multimedia and producer of ‘Leader: Ami e Bangladesh’, told the muharrat that they were planning to shot the film in straight 30 days maintaining the health rules and post production works of the film will be carried out in 30 days thereafter.
The film will get local and global release on the Eid-ul-Azha, he added.
Director Topu Khan, cast Shakib Khan, Bubly, Masum Bashar, Mili Bashar and executive producer Dewan Shamsur Rakib, among others, attended the muharrat.
Written by Delwar Hossain Dil, ‘Leader: Ami e Bangladesh’ marks Topu Khan’s first venture as a director in Dhallywood which was announced at a high-profile ceremony in February.
Meanwhile, two first look posters of the film featuring leads Shakib Khan and Bubly grabbed huge attention from fans.
