Renowned filmmaker Md Iqbal has unveiled his latest cinematic venture, "Deadbody," surrounded by luminaries of the film industry. The grand inauguration took place on Sunday evening at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC).

In addition to industry veterans, notable figures such as Khorshed Alam Khosru, Shamsul Alam, Golam Kibria, Nadir Khan, and many others graced the occasion.

Esteemed actors including Omar Sani, Ziaul Roshan, Shamol Mawla, Rashed Mamun Apu, Anwesha Roy, and Misty Jahan are set to captivate audiences with their performances in this star-studded production.

Roshan, sharing his thoughts, revealed that amidst the spine-tingling horror and heart-pounding action, there's a tender romantic thread woven into the fabric of the film. He enthused, "We've been meticulously preparing for this shoot for months. This genre is a new terrain for me, and the choice of the remote Bandarban area as our shooting location is a deliberate one to enhance the narrative. If we execute it seamlessly, it has the potential to be an outstanding film."

Anwesha Roy, hailing from West Bengal, will grace the screen opposite Roshan. Having been a part of the industry since 2017, participating in diverse photo shoots for television and commercials, she brings a wealth of experience to her role.

Anwesha recounted, "Through an intermediary from a Kolkata-based organization, I connected with the director and producer of this Bangladeshi gem. I was wholeheartedly committed after immersing myself in the story and comprehending the character. We journeyed to Bangladesh a few months ago and sealed the deal."

Director Md. Iqbal divulged that the inaugural phase of shooting is set to kick off on October 10, spanning a compelling ten-day shoot. Actor Shamol Mawla is poised to deliver a standout performance in a special role.

Iqbal shared his contagious enthusiasm for the project, declaring, "This narrative is truly exceptional. While it's a tale of horror at its core, it seamlessly weaves in romance and action elements. The story, the emotions—it's all close to my heart. I've nurtured this vision for a long time, and now that it's finally underway, I am genuinely overjoyed."

Omar Sani, another luminary of the industry, echoed his excitement, "The premise of this film is extraordinary. The moment Iqbal mentioned the title, I was instantly intrigued. Upon delving into the storyline, I found it incredibly compelling. That's precisely why I chose to be a part of this cinematic journey."
