Popular Bangladeshi actor Anisur Rahman Milon is ready to take the big screen in the United States with his upcoming Hollywood film "Boneyard." The crime thriller, directed by Asif Akbar, hits US theatres on July 5.
Milon confirmed the news on social media, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity. "I'm incredibly grateful to Asif Akbar for this amazing opportunity to share the screen with legendary Mel Gibson and the talented 50 Cent," he wrote. "Working alongside such stars has been a truly remarkable experience."
"Boneyard" boasts an impressive cast, featuring Mel Gibson, 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson), and Brian Van Holt in leading roles. Milon expressed his optimism about the film, highlighting the significance of sharing the screen with such renowned actors.
"The audience will see me on screen with Mel Gibson in such a big production," he shared with local media. "It's a big thing for me."
This isn't Milon's first foray into American filmmaking. He previously appeared in "Flash It," a collaborative project between American and Bangladeshi artists. He also holds a historic distinction as the first Bangladeshi actor to become a member of the prestigious Screen Actors Guild (SAG) in May 2022.
Milon began his acting career at age 12 with Artonad Theatre. Then he acted in TV series "Ronger Manush", directed by Salauddin Lavlu. Tele-film "Doyeeta", "Projapotikal" "Hatkura", "Modhumoira", "Atappor" was great for his career and then appeared in high-profile film "The Last Thakur". Milon also played a lead role in the 2007 NTV series “111: A Nelson Number.”
