Jamir Uddin Milon, a playwright, hails from the village of Char Meher in Ramgati, Lakshmipur and began his journey into drama and literature over a decade ago.

His literary endeavours predominantly focus on creating narratives that either provide societal guidance or directly address societal issues. Through his plays, Milon endeavours to serve the community by instilling valuable insights.

His first two plays, "Kuashar Aboron" and "Biborno Bikel," set the stage for his prolific career in playwriting. Subsequently, he penned numerous other plays, including "Opekkhar Prohor", "Jyotsna Phuler Meyera" and "Bhalobashar Bikelgulo," which have been aired on various channels.

Many of Milon's plays have been directed by Sokal Ahmed. His debut poetry collection was published in 2002.  Milon's first novel was "Obosheshe Hariye Gele."

While Milon is equally proficient in poetry and prose, his passion lies predominantly in playwriting.

He expressed, "I prefer writing plays more. I find immense satisfaction in it. However, the genre of plays and stories I work on differs from the prevailing trend. My plays always revolve around societal issues. I ensure that my stories and dialogues contribute positively to society, avoiding any misuse. I aim to contribute something meaningful to society through my works."
