Renowned Bangladeshi actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila has embarked on a new journey in the Tollywood film industry, making her debut in July. Now, she is set to grace another Kolkata film titled 'Aranyer Prachin Probad,' directed by Dulal Dey.
According to sources in the Kolkata media, the film primarily falls under the genre of mystery-thriller. The lead role will be portrayed by Jeetu Kamal, a character who juggles the roles of a doctor and a cricket enthusiast, only to find himself entangled in a web of mysteries.
In this movie, Mithila will be seen in the role of a nurse. Her character's look has already been revealed, showcasing Mithila in a white saree-blouse ensemble. The selection of Mithila for the role of the nurse was deliberate, as the producers mentioned, "We couldn't envision anyone else in this character apart from Mithila. We didn't even discuss the character with anyone else."
It is worth mentioning that Mithila's film 'Maaya' was released in Kolkata on July 7th. She portrayed a pivotal role in the movie. Additionally, she has been involved in other projects, including Arnob Midya's 'Meghla', Arunava Khasnobis anthology 'Neetishastra', and she is currently working in 'Abhagir Swargo' directed by Anirban Chakraborty.
Rafiath Rashid Mithila's entry into the Kolkata film industry is anticipated to bring a fresh perspective to Tollywood and further strengthen the cultural exchange between Bangladesh and West Bengal. Fans on both sides of the border are eager to witness her talent on the big screen.
