‘Mona: Jinn 2’ released in Pakistan

Bangladeshi film "Mona: Jinn 2” released in Pakistan, extending its reach beyond the nation's multiplexes. The movie, which was released in Bangladesh during the Eid season, is now being screened in 24 cinemas across various regions of Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.

Directed by Kamruzzaman Roman, the film "Mona: Jinn 2" cast Suprobhat, Tariq Anam Khan, Deepa Khandakar, Samina Bashar, Ariana, Sajjad Hossen, Shehzad Omar, Rebeka, Mahmudul Hasan Mithu, Shamim, and others.

The plot of "Mona. Jinn 2" is inspired by a real life incident in Jamalpur that was published in a daily newspaper. It is asserted that the film's narrative itself is terrifying and does not rely on elaborate visual effects or music to evoke fear.

The film's producer, Abdul Aziz, expressed optimism about its reception among Pakistani audiences, noting that English subtitles have been provided for viewers' convenience.
