Popular actor Mosharraf Karim-starrer Tollywood film ‘Hubba’ is set to captivate the audiences Friday.  Under the banner of Jaaz Multimedia, the film has received approval for release in Bangladesh and will grace theatres in both Kolkata and Bangladesh on the same day.

Directed by Bratya Basu, ‘Hubba,’ unveils the compelling life of the late ’90s gangster, Hubba Shyamal, who reigned with absolute power in Hooghly district’s criminal world.

‘Hubba’ presents a captivating mix of thriller and comedy, exploring the enigmatic criminal life of Hubba Shyamal, who was known as the ‘Dawood Ibrahim of Hooghly.’ His criminal record included murder, drug trafficking, and other heinous crimes, yet he always managed to secure bail despite multiple police cases.

To discuss the film and character, Mosharraf Karim met the journalists at the residence of Jaaz Multimedia Chairman Abdul Aziz on Sunday evening.

About the film the actor said, the audience should watch the film because Mosharraf Karim acted in the film and this film will be released in Bangladesh too.

Regarding adapting himself to this role, Mosharraf Karim explained, “There was no struggle to depict this role. A character cannot be conquered forcefully. I have worked hard to do theatre, to act; I was not able to do this work and I could not do it. I actually love that work because I love acting. If I love acting, and it requires walking 10 miles to rehearsals every day, and if I enjoy the effort, then why do I call it a struggle? Rather I will call it love instead of struggle.”

Chairman of Jaaz Multimedia Abdul Aziz said, “We have received permission to release the movie. There is no more difficulty in releasing 'Hubba' in Bangladesh. Hopefully, the movie based on a crime thriller will fascinate the audience of this country.”
