In a groundbreaking event held yesterday evening at a prestigious hotel in Dhaka, the renowned director, producer, and playwright Mostofa Sarwar Farooki introduced his latest venture, "Ministry of Love." This innovative project entails the creation of 12 original films, each portraying a captivating tale of love, carefully curated by 12 beloved producers.
The ceremony witnessed the oath-taking of the 12 ministers of "Ministry of Love," who are the directors of the films. The eminent artist and stalwart of the industry, Afsal Hossain, administered the oath. Notable figures including Redoan Rony, CEO of Chorki, and Editor of Prothom Alo, Matiur Rahman, expressed their views on the significance of "Ministry of Love."
Leading the program were the ever-charming actress Sabila Nur and the popular stand-up comedian Amin Hannan Chowdhury, who added their charm and wit to the event.
Scheduled for release between 2023 and 2024, these 12 films are set to enrapture audiences with their diverse depictions of love, showcasing a kaleidoscope of emotions, forms, and experiences.
Mostafa Sarwar Farooki, the visionary creator has been given the responsibility of overall supervision and coordination of the project, ensuring an enriching cinematic journey.
