In honour of the historic Language Movement on Ekushey February, renowned singer Nachiketa Chakraborty has lent his voice to a song titled "Ekta Ekusher Lage". The song emphasizes the deep bond between Bangladesh and West Bengal despite the geographical barriers.

Penned by Golam Morshed and composed by Antu Golandaz, Saida Sampa also gave voice along with Nachiketa.

Regarding the song lyricist Golam Morshed expressed, “Ekush is our pride. Many have including Rafiq, Salam, Jabbar, and Barkat sacrificed their lives for our Bengali language. It's essential to create songs for the very same Bengali language. I arranged the lyrics of this song out of love for the Bengali language. I hope the listeners will learn about Ekushey through this song. Nachiketa's voice gives the song a life. With that, the appeal of Sampa's voice adds another dimension.”

Shampa stated, "Nachiketa da is one of my favourite singers. He always takes the lead in singing socially conscious songs. Both of us have poured our sentiments for Ekushey February into this song."

The song will be released on the YouTube channel of Gaan Janala on February 21.
