Nicki Minaj, the iconic rapper, has finally unveiled the highly anticipated sequel to her debut album "Pink Friday" after a thirteen-year wait.

The much-awaited record boasts an impressive lineup of 22 fresh tracks, featuring collaborations with some of the biggest names in the music industry. The star-studded list includes Drake, J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Tate Kobang, Lourdiz, Lil Uzi Vert, Skillibeng, Skeng, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, and Future.

Originally slated for an earlier release, Minaj decided to coincide the drop of "Pink Friday 2" with her 41st birthday, now set for December 8. Expressing her pride in the album, she shared the news with her followers during an Instagram live session.

The album's lead single, "Last Time I Saw You," was released earlier, showcasing a more pop-centric vibe.

In an interview with Vogue, Minaj described the track as a reflection on guilt, a theme not often explored in music. She explained, "It's a song about guilt... That 'I wish I had' feeling. Once I wrote the hook, I started to think of people that I love and see every day and still take for granted. You know what I'm saying? So I hope the song does a good thing."

"Pink Friday 2" marks Minaj's first album since 2018's "Queen," which featured hit singles like "Good Form," "Chun Li," and "Bed" with Ariana Grande. "Queen" debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, garnering 185,000 album-equivalent units.
