In a shocking turn of events, renowned actress Nikita Rawal, known for her stellar performances in both Hindi and South Indian cinema, was subjected to a harrowing armed robbery in her own residence. The incident unfolded when Nikita, who has shared screen space with some of the industry's biggest luminaries, was confronted by assailants, one of whom brandished a gun, demanding a staggering sum of Rs 3.5 lakh.
Reports reveal that the audacious robbery was orchestrated by members of Nikita's own household staff, who had cunningly plotted the crime. Seizing a strategic moment when other staff members were absent, the culprits left the actress in a state of disbelief as they made off with the substantial sum, along with a trove of her hard-earned jewellery, according to Hindustan Times.
Nikita, still reeling from the traumatic ordeal, expressed her deep disappointment at the betrayal of trust. She recounted the heart-stopping moment, saying, "Facing multiple armed assailants, each threatening to harm you, leaves you with no option but to comply. It's a horrifying experience, to say the least."
