Bangladeshi musician Raffan Imam, known by his stage name Popeye, will perform his first solo concert in Dhaka on Friday. The concert, titled "Popeye—A Night to Remember," will be held at the Liberation War Museum in Agargaon.

Organised by Eventholic, the event will also feature performances by guest bands Lisan and the Blindmen and Frequency 2.0.

"This might be my last show in Bangladesh this year," Popeye told the media. "This solo concert is special because it will allow us to perform a wider range of songs for our fans."

Popeye Bangladesh's current line-up includes Popeye on vocals, Robi on drums, Shafat Ahmed Chowdhury and Talat Minhaz on guitars, Tansif on bass guitar, Promit on keyboard, and Rafi as manager.

In 2010, artist duo Raffan Imam and Talat Minhaz came together and started 'Popeye', a musical project that has blessed us with some great hits like 'Nesha Bojha', 'Bhalobasha Baki', 'Bishonno Shundor', and many more, garnering millions of views on YouTube in the process.

Popeye released his first solo album, "Amar Swarga" in 2010, followed by "Ja Ichche Ta" in 2013. After relocating to the US, he made his live return to Bangladesh in March 2023 at the "Rock N Rhythm 2" concert.
