Renowned Bangladeshi actress Pori Moni has recently announced on social media that she has completed the dubbing work for the film ‘Puff Daddy’, which she started three years ago. Initially conceived as a seven-part web series in 2020, the project was later transformed into a full-fledged feature film.
The film underwent changes, including a switch in the director's name, with Shahid-Un-Nabi stepping in to finish the work alongside Mushfiqur Rahman Manzu after its original director Masud Hasan Ujjal, departed during the initial stages of filming.
The film is set to release on the Bongo BD on August 25.
About the film’s story, Shahid-Un-Nabi said, "The story of 'Puff Daddy' is created by blending spirituality and reality. I don't want to spoil the surprise by revealing too much about the plot beforehand. The main story revolves around 'Puff Daddy' or this father figure. Those who are associated with it will experience a twist in the narrative."
Apart from Pori Moni, the movie also casts Abdun Noor Sajal, Azad Abul Kalam, Intekhab Dinar, and Bijori Barkatullah, among others.
The film's first-look poster has recently been released, showcasing Azad Abul Kalam with a black pair of glasses, portraying two faces—one representing Pori Moni's character and the other depicting Sajal's character.
Sharing the first-look on Facebook, Pori Moni captioned, "Is it spiritual power or blind devotion? Which one is true? Or is it all just an illusion? The new web film 'Puff Daddy' is coming soon."
