The magazine show ‘Ityadi’ always comes up with exciting segments to enthrall the viewers. And a special Eid song means extra arrangement, extra attraction. Keeping up with this trend, this year’s Eid special episode of ‘Ityadi’ is all set to present the viewers with a new folk song. Two sons of late musician Khalid Hasan Milu, Protic Hasan, and Pritom Hasan have lent their voices to a song composed of folk and modern genres for the upcoming Eid special Ityadi.
The folk part of the song has some touch of Khalid Hasan Milu's popular song of that time. The lyrics of this song are written by Kabir Bakul, tune and music arrangement have been done by Pritom Hasan. Eight young beat boxers have participated in the song with the two brothers. The song was shot in the capital’s Mirpur Indoor Stadium on March 2.
At present, the country's popular musician and music organizer Pritam Hasan has a special interest in Baul and folk music. Several songs sung and composed by Pritom Hasan have already gained popularity. On the other hand, Protic Hasan is singing different genres of songs. Several songs of Protic Hasan became popular.
Notably, Khalid Hasan Milu was a bright star of the Bangla music world. He is the creator of numerous timeless songs. All the songs sung by this ephemeral musician on Ityadi were widely appreciated. The last interview and song of the artistes’ also aired on Ityadi. Even Khalid Haasan Milu’s two children Protic Hasan and Pritom Haasan made their first screen appearance through Ityadi. The two brothers Protic and Pritom did their first duet song in Ityadi.
Hanif Sanket conceptualised, directed, and presented this year's Eid-special Ityadi segment in continuation of their 34 years on screen. The programme is produced by Fagun Audio Vision and sponsored by Keya Cosmetics Limited. Like every year, Eid specials will be aired the day after Eid, on BTV and BTV World simultaneously.
