National Film Award-winning actress Purnima has received good news. Her new film 'Ahare Jibon', directed by eminent film director Chatku Ahmed, has finally received censor clearance. It has been several days since a new movie of Purnima has been released, so she is eagerly waiting for the release of this new film in which she played a central role.
This is the first time Purnima has worked with Chatku Ahmed, and the film features actor Ferdous Ahmed opposite Purnima. Both of them have acted together in several movies before, including 'Gangchil' directed by Naeem Imtiaz Neyamul.
Talking about acting in the movie 'Ahare Jibon', Purnima said, "Chatku Ahmed is a senior director of our country. He is making a film after a long time, and I am happy to be a part of this project. Acting in his movies is a new experience for me. Chatku Bhai, even at this age, has tried his best to make the movie successful. During my acting career, I have worked with several talented directors, and I have been overwhelmed by the love of billions of audiences in this country. I am truly grateful for the love that the audience still shows me. They have been eagerly waiting for the release of my new movie for a long time, and with 'Ahare Jibon', that waiting period is finally going to end. The film received 60,000,00 taka in funding from the government and will portray some stories during the pandemic situation. Ferdous Ahmed will be seen playing the role of a police officer in this film, while Purnima will be seen playing an ordinary girl named Dola.
Meanwhile, Purnima was present at the National Film Awards ceremony on November 14. She has presented at the National Film Awards ceremony several times before. However, yesterday she mentioned that she has not acted in any new movie or drama recently.
Purnima made her film debut with 'E Jibon Tomar Amar' in 1998. Her notable performances include 'Megher Por Megh', based on the liberation war and directed by Chashi Nazrul Islam. She also acted in 'Shuva', a story based on Rabindranath Tagore's short story 'Shuvashini'.
