The makers released the trailer of the much-anticipated film, "Antarjal" at an event at Kawran Bazar on Sunday. The maker also announced that the film will be released on September 22 instead of September 8.

The film has faced a shift in its release date for the third time this year. The decision to postpone came as Shah Rukh Khan's highly anticipated "Jawan" is going to hit the country theatres on the same day.

Regarding the film release, producer Mohammad Sadekul Arefin said, “Antarjal is going to be a new important addition to the Bangla film industry. We want everyone to watch the film by going to the cinema halls. On September 8, the Hindi film "Jawan" will be released in our country, Most of the cinemas in Bangladesh are single screen and there is no culture of running two movies at a time. We want competition, and at the same time we want all good movies to be seen by the audience. So we decided to release the film on September 22.”

“Dhaka Attack”-famed director Dipankar Dipon’s film “Antarjal” featured the major cast members of the film – ABM Sumon as ASP Raihan (CID Officer), Bidya Sinha Mim as Nishat (Cyber Security Specialist), Sunerah Binte Kamal as Priyam (Robotics Engineer), Mashrur Enan as Sadaf (Software Engineer), and Siam Ahmed as Lumin (Programmer). Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, who is now enjoying the golden period of her career, will be seen in the role of a cyber-security specialist. She also shared her experience while working on this film.

The screenplay of “Antarjal” was penned by Dipon himself, while the story was co-written by Dipon, Saifullah Riyad, and Asha Jahid.

“Antarjal” is an initiative of the ICT Division Bangladesh and is being produced under the banner of Motion People with the overall cooperation of communication agency Spellbound Leo Burnett.
