Popular Kolkata actress Rituparna Sengupta is now staying in Dhaka for the shooting of the Indo-Bangladesh joint venture film ‘Sporsho’. The actress will be seen opposite Nirab Hossain in the film. Before taking part in the shooting, the actress met journalists at a club in the capital on Saturday evening.
She talked about the film and her co-artist of the film. She said, "Every time I come to Dhaka, I feel like I have come to my hometown. I have come here to shoot the last lot of the movie ‘Sporsho’. This is a movie with a beautiful story. The shooting is going very well.”
The Indo-Bangladesh joint production has been directed by Bangladesh's Anonno Mamun, and Indian filmmaker Abhinandan Dutta.
Talking about Nirab, the actress said, “Nirab acts very well. He will do better in the future. There is a lot of time. I can see his bright future.”
When she asked about her 'Praktan' hero Prosenjit, when will they pair up again? In response, Rituparna said, "We have gifted many good films. After many years we came together in the movie 'Praktan'. The movie became a blockbuster. The new information is that we are going to pair up again. It will be the 50th movie of our pair. The name hasn't been decided yet, but making is underway. The shooting will start this year. The movie will be produced by Kaushik Ganguly. Be it for now.''
At the end of the adda, Rituparna reminisced about acting with other actors in Bangladesh. However, she talked about Ferdous, the closest friend of Dhallywood.
