On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, RTV Music has released a song titled "Shotokonthe Bhasar Gaan" on its YouTube channel.
The music video features three songs performed by a total of 100 singers, including Linu Billah, Timir Biswas, Sajib Das, Sabbir Zaman, Champa Banik, Sharmin Keya, Shila Debi and many more.
The music video directed by Shibli Zia, features three songs: "Amar Bhaier Rokte Rangano Ekushe February", "Salam Salam Hazar Salam" and "Ami Banglay Gaan Gai."
Sabbir Zaman said, "I feel very good to be a part of such a project because this song is about the language martyrs. Thank you RTV for taking such an extraordinary initiative."
Versatile singer Sharmin Keya said, "It is because of the language martyrs that we can speak in Bengali today. There is no such sweet language in any other country in the world. There is no other country where people have given their lives for the language. So, on Language Day, we pay our respects to those who gave their lives for the language. I hope everyone will like this production."
Renowned singer Shila Debi said, "RTV's events are always excellent.'Shotokonthe Bhasar Gaan' is like a reunion for all of us. That's why we tried to enjoy the time along with the work. I hope everyone will like this offering. My deepest respects to all the martyrs on International Mother Language Day."
