Superstar Salman Khan recently shared insights about his role in Bigg Boss OTT 2 and what keeps him motivated on the show. The popular host, known for his candid demeanor, admitted to losing his cool occasionally and even walking out at times. However, he revealed that his fans' unwavering support is what brings him back every time for the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episodes.

News agency ANI quoted Salman saying, "My fans are my biggest achievement and pride! I am what I am because of them. Yes, I lose my cool on the show and sometimes even walk out but I always come back only and only for my fans who patiently wait for my 'Weekend ka Vaar'".

However, Salman's hosting style has not been without controversy. Earlier this month, he was seen holding a cigarette while hosting, and he used strong language on the OTT version of the reality show despite advocating a no-tolerance policy for disrespect, violence, and abuse in the Bigg Boss house.

The speculations of Salman quitting the show arose after pictures of him with a cigarette went viral. Nevertheless, the actor remains an integral part of the show's hosting, and this is his first time hosting Bigg Boss OTT 2, with Karan Johar having hosted the previous OTT version, according to Hindustan Times.

The latest 'Weekend ka Vaar' will feature actors Vijay Varma and Shweta Tripathi as celebrity guests, promoting their series Kaalkoot. Both Kaalkoot and Bigg Boss OTT 2 are available for streaming on JioCinema.

As for the show's contestants, Pooja Bhatt, Bebika Dhurve, Abhishek Malhan, Avinash Sachdev, Jiya Shankar, Manisha Rani, Jad Hadid, Elvish Yadav, and Aashika Bhatia are currently competing. This week, Manisha and Aashika are nominated for eviction, and fans speculate that Aashika might be at risk of exiting the show.

Previously, the show got an extension of two weeks. Salman Khan announced, "This is what, just six weeks? Or maybe it will get extended to eight weeks. What does that mean? That means the show got an extension for two weeks. That means people are loving it. A watch time of 400 crore minutes in just two weeks, the first two weeks of Bigg Boss OTT 2. You guys are seen more than I am seen. Obviously, this season has been extended by two weeks.”
