After much speculation, "Poran" famed actor Sariful Razz is going to act in a new film titled “Omor” under the direction of filmmaker Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz.
In the film, Sariful Razz will play the titular character. Shariful Razz has signed the official contract with the makers. Director Mostafa Kamal Raz himself confirmed this news through a Facebook post on Saturday.
The post read, “The person I chose for the title role of the movie ‘Omar’ is similar to my name. I am raz, he also Razz, Shariful Razz. Razz will appear in front of the audience as Omar. I am happy to have him in the title role of my new movie. I am also very optimistic. There is nothing special to say about Razz's acting skills.”
“We also have another namesake in our film- Raju Raj – who will be the cinematographer of our film. Incredibly, all three Raz's will be working together in a film," read the director's post.
Earlier on, three powerful actors Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shahiduzzaman Selim, and Nasir Uddin Khan, also signed up for the film in August.
Siddique Ahmed wrote the screenplay for the film, while Khorshed Alam will be producing it. "Omor" is being made under the banner of Master Communications. The music has been composed by Naved Parvez and Savvy.
